Indian Other description

15 Allens Mills Rd. I am building from scratch, reproduction 1915 Boardtrack racers. So far they have gone to Washington and Ohio with 1 in progress going to Texas. These are built to order. They have three horse, 1 cyl 2 stroke motors, much like the originals. Big balloon tires, many vintage info and finished to look "barn fresh"! When they raced these, they had 2 rules, you had to push it to start it and there were no brakes! I've added a couple of conveniences like a rear brake and a center stand. You peddle it to start it, dump the clutch and you hang on! They are a blast to ride. You can get up to about 30-35 mph and believe me, that's plenty on these authentic boneshakers, the only suspension being the seat! In the early 1900's, there were over 300 motorcycle companies in the US. The depression put most of them out of business. Now, names like Pope, Henderson, Thor, Curtiss are all history. You can have 1 of these custom built bikes for a lot less than the originals, which if you could find 1 would be more like $50,000! You ride 1 of these and get the true feel of a piece of history... wind in your hair, bugs in your teeth, bones rattled and a true man's cologne... gas and oil! Call me, Dan, for info. They take about 3-4 weeks to complete with pictures sent all during the build. Everyone stops you and wants to know what you are riding!
