2015 Indian Chieftain Trike, Thunderstroke 111 Cubic In 1811cc Motor, Motorcycle
This trike has only 670 miles on it. Because of some unforeseen circumstances in my life I sadly need to let this beauty go. I have it priced at a considerable discount to what I paid for it just a few months ago. I am the original owner and have kept it stored in an air conditioned garage. I accept cashiers check, cash at pick up or wire transfer. Any questions please contact me. Thanks for looking!
NOTE: This bike is due for its first oil change NOTE: There is a a 11.5" scratch on the left rear fender (see last photo) |

Powered by the all-new Thunder Stroke 111 engine, the new Chief will be the first new Indian motorcycle introduced after the company was acquired by Polaris Industries in 2011. To prepare for the launch, Polaris has released a new image and video of the new Chief, and announced it will be available in North American dealerships later this year with prices starting at $18,999.
Indian introduces new PowerPlus engine
Wed, 20 Nov 2019The apparatus with a 60-degree camber of the cylinder block can hardly be called the “little brother” of the 1811cc Thunder Stroke 111 engine - its capacity is 1769cc, but in terms of design solutions, the motors are fundamentally different. Let's start with the fact that, according to the manufacturer, the new engine is the most powerful in its class - it develops 121hp at 5500rpm and 178 Nm at 3800 rpm. PowerPlus, like the Scout motor, has an overhead camshaft, is equipped with four valves per cylinder and hydraulic compensators, eliminating the need to adjust clearances, the cooling is liquid.
Bill Tuman, Bobby Hill, To Be Grand Marshals For AMA Vintage Motorcycle Days
Thu, 05 Jun 2014In the early 1950s, three underdog riders were winning AMA Grand Nationals against their better-funded factory rivals out of Europe and Milwaukee, Wis. Whether it was the Springfield Mile, the Charity Newsies or Daytona, Bill Tuman, Bobby Hill and Ernie Beckman put their Indian motorcycles on the top step of the podium. Known as the Indian Wrecking Crew, Tuman, Hill and Beckman made an indelible mark on the history books and solidified Indian Motorcycles’ reputation as one of the 20th Century’s greatest marques.
