This is a rare find as it is one of the "Numbered Bikes" from 2014.  This bike is number #1333.  After Polaris Industries purchased the Indian brand they introduced their all new Thunder Stroke 111 engine in three models for 2014 and 'numbered' the first 1901 of each model produced that year!  This bike is #1333 for the 2014 Indian Chief Vintage.  

The bike comes with a Thunder Stroke 111" (1818cc) engine, black and silver, 6 speed transmission.   Standard features on this bike include: ABS, Keyless Start, Cast Aluminum Frame, Cruise Control, Light Bar, Premium Leather Seats, Quick Release Windshield, Quick Release Leather Saddle Bags, Vintage Fender Badge, and more.

Allstate Offering $5,000 Grants for Best New Motorcycle Safety Ideas

We’ve previously written about Allstate‘s efforts at advancing motorcycle safety and awareness, from its “Watch for Motorcycles” sign campaign to its Rider Risk Map app on Facebook. Today, the insurance provider announced another new initiative in its Good Rides Grant program, offering $25,000 in grants for new ideas to advance motorcycle safety. Allstate is asking people to send their ideas on how to improve safety to the company’s Facebook page.

Pre-Polaris Indians Recalled for Cracking Rear Rims

Transport Canada has announced a recall on various Indian motorcycles from model years 2009 to 2013 because of a risk of the rims cracking. All of the recalled motorcycles were from the old Indian designs before the storied brand was acquired by Polaris Industries. But as the new owners of Indian Motorcycles, Polaris is left with the responsibility of correcting defects from previous designs.

Rockerbox Motofest Moves To Road America

Wisconsin’s premier motorcycle show, The Rockerbox Motofest, featuring an eclectic mix of Euro, Japanese and American vintage café racers, choppers, sport bikes, racing machines, super motos, scooters, and sidecars is making an official move for the future. Instead of its usual Milwaukee home, the event is making the trek 60 miles north to America’s national park of speed as part of  Road America’s American Historic Racing Motorcycle Association (AHRMA) Vintage Motorcycle Classic, June 6-8. The Rockerbox Motofest includes a ride-in bike show and competition showcasing the greatest in classic style, fresh customization, plus all that is unusual and incredible.
