For your consideration is a matching numbers 1946 Indian Chief motorcycle. Clear title in hand. Motorcycle currently does not run. Purchased with the purpose of restoring, multiple replacement parts have been assembled (which will be listed for sale individually), but have been distracted with other projects. It is time to let someone else carry her back to function. Engine number is CDE 6736. Frame number is 346-6736. One of the rare WWII models with frame and engine numbers that span 2 years as so few were manufactured for private sale. Including a fender with the sale of this motorcycle (I just think it is the right thing to do). $500 deposit due within 24 of auction closing. Remainder of sale price via bank check or wire transfer prior to pick-up. Although I will assist with delivery, buyer must arrange delivery on their own. No warranty implied or promised as motorcycle is a restoration project.

Florida’s Panama City Beach Motorcycle Rally Coming April 30th

Case in point, Panama City Beach Motorcycle Rally gets under way just about three weeks from today. The April 30th – May 4th, 2014 event kicks off with a party at the Sandpiper Beacon Beach Resort and Tiki Bar, featuring the bands Mustang Sally and Big Engine.
Pre-Polaris Indians Recalled for Cracking Rear Rims
Fri, 30 Aug 2013Transport Canada has announced a recall on various Indian motorcycles from model years 2009 to 2013 because of a risk of the rims cracking. All of the recalled motorcycles were from the old Indian designs before the storied brand was acquired by Polaris Industries. But as the new owners of Indian Motorcycles, Polaris is left with the responsibility of correcting defects from previous designs.
Polaris Acquires French Quadricycle-maker Aixam Mega
Thu, 11 Apr 2013Polaris has added another brand to its growing list of acquisitions, buying out Aixam Mega S.A.S., a French manufacturer of light-duty commercial vehicles and quadricycles – small four-wheeled enclosed vehicles that can be driven, in some markets, without an automobile driver’s license. Aixam Mega joins Polaris’ portfolio which already includes Victory Motorcycles, Indian Motorcycles, electric vehicle makers Global Electric Motorcars and Groupil. Like GEM and Groupil, Axiam Mega produces small vehicles, though its products include both electric and diesel-powered vehicles.
