I'm listing my 2002 Indian motorcycle because it just sits in our shed most of the time. It needs to go to someone who can enjoy it. It has a 5 speed transmission, a dual leather seat, windshield, chrome spoke wheels, leather saddle bags, a new battery, & whitewall tires, I had the engine bored .20 over with new pistons & rings installed. At the same time, I had the carburetors redone. This is a really nice bike with all the power anyone needs. A new dust cover is included and it is wired for a trickle battery charger. New Indian Thunder Stroke 111 Engine in “Spirit of Munro” Streamliner
Mon, 11 Mar 2013To mark the unveiling of its new Thunder Stroke 111 engine, Indian Motorcycle revealed a custom-built streamliner motorcycle dubbed the “Spirit of Munro“, equipped with the new Indian engine. The “Spirit of Munro” is a tribute to the Munro Special, the 1920 Indian scout that set a new land-speed record in 1967 at the Bonneville Salt Flats for under-1000cc motorcycles. The Munro Special was famously depicted in the 2005 film “The World’s Fastest Indian“, starring Anthony Hopkins.
