Your Chance To Win A 2014 Indian Chief
Mon, 29 Jul 2013From now until August 12, Indian Motorcycles, in conjunction with the History Channel, is hosting the Own the Road sweepstakes, where one lucky fan has the chance to win a 2014 Indian Chief. The new Chief is generating plenty of buzz lately, and its grand unveiling is set to commence this weekend in Sturgis, where our own Jonny Langston will be covering all the festivities. Don’t miss your chance to win one of the year’s most hotly anticipated motorcycles.
Polaris Reports Q1 2012 Results
Wed, 18 Apr 2012Polaris Industries reported a 44% increase in on-road vehicle sales revenue and a 40% increase in North American Victory Motorcycle unit sales over the first quarter of 2012. According to Polaris’ first quarter report, its on-road vehicle division (which consists of the Victory and Indian motorcycle brands as well as electric vehicle brands GEM and Goupil) generated $64.7 million in sales revenue, compared to $44.9 million reported in the same quarter of 2011. Of course, the Polaris didn’t yet own Indian, GEM or Goupil during that quarter last year, so the figures are a bit misleading.
The Indian Scout Rogue should appear as a 2022 model
Mon, 03 Jan 2022Indian Motorcycle has provided the NHTSA with a 2022 VIN list of motorcycles, which includes two new models: the Scout Rogue and the Scout Rogue Sixty. The motorcycle will be based on the Scout Bobber platform and will be equipped with either a 1133cc engine or the "Sixty" liter engine and will be available with or without anti-lock brakes. Information about the imminent appearance of "Scoundrel" (this is one of the meanings of the word "Rogue") in the Scout line appeared in April 2021, when Indian applied for the Scout Rogue trademark.
