NEW Handlebar protection pad with graphic design. NEW Domino all-black handgrips with softer compound. NEW IPD (in-mold plastic design) shroud graphics updated with sleek new look. NEW Improved sticker quality on side plate graphics. WR125 comes with 144cc top-end bore kit including cylinder and piston. Compact, lightweight 124.8cc two-stroke motor with mechanically controlled power valve. Kayaba 48mm open-cartridge fork and Sachs shock provide a plush ride. Husqvarna 701 gets new engine
Wed, 28 Sep 2016At the last year’s presentation of the model in Portugal, none of the Husqvarna fans could really answer the question why the old 690 cc Kateem LC4 engine is used on the 701st Husk, while the 690 Duke has an already upgraded one. It took only a year to correct the mistake. The new engine of both versions of the Husqvarna 701 is absolutely identical to what is being installed on the 690 Duke from this year.
2013 Dakar Rally Route Announced
Thu, 22 Nov 2012The 2013 Dakar Rally will again be held in South America with event organizers announcing a new route for the 34th running of the off-road race. Now in its fifth year in Latin America, the 2013 edition of the Rally will feature a new route running from north to south, starting Jan. 5 in Lima, Peru, and ending Jan.
2013 Husqvarna CR125, WR125, WR250 and WR300 Recalled for Throttle Malfunctions
Tue, 13 Aug 2013The Consumer Public Safety Commission announced a recall for the 2013 Husqvarna CR125, WR125, WR250 and WR300 off-road models because of a problem with the throttle cable. According to the CPSC, the throttle cables on the affected units may malfunction, causing the rider to lose control of the motorcycle’s speed, posing a crash hazard. No further details about the problem were announced by the CPSC, but a similar recall on the same models was announced for Australia in May.
