2013 Husqvarna TR 650 Terra and Strada Street Bikes Announced

Husqvarna announced two new street bike models based on the Concept Strada unveiled last November at the Salon de la Moto show in Paris, France.  The new TR 650 Terra and the TR 650 Strada expand Husqvarna‘s suddenly burgeoning street bike lineup alongside the Nuda 900 and Nuda 900R. Unlike the Nuda models however, the Strada and Terra are coming to the U.S. The Terra model is a dual sport equipped for light off-roading while the Strada is better suited for paved roads.

New BMW World Superbike recruit, Marco Melandri has been using the Bavarian manufacturer's connection to Husqvarna to get himself a nice new motocross bike for the off-season. Melandri has been riding the Husky TC250 in preparation for the 2012 season, whilst the winter testing ban was in effect. In fact, Husqvarna is committed to advancing two-stroke technology with the introduction of its latest motorcycle, the TC300. Designed to compete in the newly formed European Motocross 300cc two-stroke championship, the TC300 is a TC250 two-stroke, upgraded to 300cc with accessories soon to be available from the Husky Power range of special parts.
