Husqvarna TE 610 WXE description

Beautiful 1993 Husquvarna TE 610 WXE  with Current Calif Green sticker (Year round riding legal) and dual USFS Approved spark Arresters on. Clear Calif title (Pink Slip) and registration paperwork good til June of 2017. Bought this Husky from a guy my age (59 ) to go riding with my son, who has subsequently been stationed out of country for the next 3 years. Rode this beauty twice, what an amazing trail machine!  K, plastic is all in good shape, bars and controls great as well, Metzler front tire, dunlop rear both on perfect rims, Pipe and cans dent free, comes with owners manual and front disc guard Oh, and yes, it has a 6 speed trans! with 6th gear being a high ratio for dessert speeds of over 70 MPH i was told. I wouldnt know about that, i never rode it over 45 i'll bet! LOL. So yeah, it ran like a new bike all day first time out, powerfull and smooth shifting, then on the second ride, the carburetor started leaking gas out or the overflow line and it flooded. Stuck float? I dont know, and since i am not a motorcycle mechanic, and no nothing about Husquvarnas, i am selling it to someone who has the time to troubleshoot it, and a riding partner to go riding with. Owner i bought it from said the hours were very low on it, i believe he said 25 hrs, pictures tell the story, so anyway, i did get it to start and run after about 10 kicks the other day, and have a short video of it running with my phone, then when i went to let it idle, it died. I thought about buying a new carb for it, but my son is gone now, so am not going to attempt to put one on to go riding. a friend told me a rebuild kit would be advised, but i am not going to get into trying to rebuild a carb. Someone who has the time, and knows what they are doing can attempt that. So anyway, see my 1000+ Perfect Ebay Feedback rating and bid with confidence! i can help you by holding the bike for a few weeks while you arrange for shipping, U-ship is a good site to go on to have people bid on picking up a bike if you cant come to get it yourself.  I will also deliver the bike to the Sacramento area for an additional 50.00 to one of the shipping container senders dont remember thier names, but they put the bike in a small metal container for shipping.  Also, Please do not bid on the Bike if you do not have the funds to pay for it! Thank you, persons with less than 10 ebay transactions or any negative feedbacks email me first before bidding or your bid will be removed. Thank You.. PS see my other listings for more great deals! will be posting some cool stuff soon.  Notice: a 100 dollar non refundable deposit is required if you are the winning bidder. full payment is due within 3 days of auction close. If you uas the buy it now option, FULL PAYMENT is due at purchase. ATTENTION Credit cards used for payment through PAYPAL are accepted as well. Thanks, Ride Safe

2015 Husqvarna FS 450 Supermoto Announced

Thu, 04 Sep 2014

One result of KTM‘s acquisition of Husqvarna is the crossover of models, with KTM motorcycles swapping orange for Swedish blue and yellow. That is, more or less, what happened with Husaberg, so it’s no surprise to see that continue with Husky. Another side-effect is we get to see more from KTM’s awesome photography department, as exemplified here with the press photos of the new 2015 Husqvarna FS 450 supermoto.

The 2014 edition of the LA Calendar Motorcycle Show continued its now 23-year tradition as the premier outdoor streetbike event in America with producer photographer Jim Gianatsis moving the show this year to the beautiful green lawns of the Malibu Golf Course among the twisty canyon roads in the Santa Monica Mountains alongside the Pacific Ocean. Taking Best of Show in this year’s Calendar Bike Building Championship was Calin Senciac’s Imagine Vehicles International / ImagineVehicles.com motorsports fabrication shop with an incredible custom billet aluminum designed chassis built by Terry Ward and the shop crew, housing a legendary 1979 Honda CBX 1047cc air-cooled in-line 6-cylinder engine.

EICMA 2013: Husqvarna 701 Prototype

Tue, 05 Nov 2013

In what direction Husqvarna’s going with this prototype we don’t really know. Husky hasn’t released any factual information about the company’s 701 prototype except for some existential blather on the company’s Facebook page. “It is a glimpse of the future Husqvarna design direction, the philosophy that future Husqvarna’s will follow, where the surfaces of the bodywork are understated, focusing on simplicity.” That’s more bodywork than we’ve seen on any modern Husky.
