1972 Husqvarna 450 CR. Nice shape ,plenty of power and LOUD. Currently not running. Ran this past spring but won't start. Has spark, Gas or carb needs played with. Thinning the herd of the oldies. Rear rim and fenders are not original. Rear tire is new and the front is " vintage" . Hand throttle assembly needs attention but works. Dent free, nice chrome tank. Clutch is good, shifts good. I do NOT have a TITLE. Bill of sale can be given. I will not ship but will assist you. Could meet somewhere on a weekend. 100 paypal deposit, prefer the balance in cash if possible. 2013 Dakar Rally Results
Mon, 21 Jan 2013Cyril Despres won his fifth career Dakar Rally while helping KTM win for the 12th consecutive time, in taking the motorcycle class in the 2013 edition of the famed off-road race. KTM was again the dominant manufacturer with the top five finishers in the motorcycle class riding motorcycles from the Austrian manufacturer. Despres finished with an overall time of 43:24:22 for the win, including a 15-minute penalty for swapping an engine after the one he was using in his KTM 450 Rallye failed.

When his attempts to convince Husqvarna to produce a smaller, lighter motorcycle fell on deaf ears, Penton created his own design and commissioned KTM, a small moped and bicycle maker in Austria, to build it. The motorcycle was an instant success in off-road competition and led KTM to expand its efforts in the motorcycle realm, initially in conjunction with Penton and ultimately on its own.
Husqvarna Reveals BMW G650GS-Engined Concept Strada
Tue, 29 Nov 2011Husqvarna unveiled a new streetbike model powered by the engine from parent company BMW’s G650GS. The Husqvarna Concept Strada was int4roduced in Paris at the Salon de la Moto show. Though Husqvarna is calling the supermoto-styled Strada a concept, but the new model is near production ready, with Husqvarna expecting to begin sales in 2012, possibly as a 2013 model.
