Up for bid is a 1972 Husqvarna CR400 project motorcycle. Clear title, and original sales receipt from 1972 . If you have a zero feedback, you must contact before bidding. Frame # MJ-00822. Engine # 2025. The bike has been sitting since the 1980's. It does not run. The motor is seized from sitting. The exhaust pipe was quite rotted out , most likely why the motor is seized. So will need a new exhaust pipe. Looks to be mostly complete. Gas tank looks to have some light rust inside. Both front and rear brakes work. clutch works, it does shift through the gears. The riders put their feet on the skis and slide in confidently, despite the snow and ice. McQueen’s Husky on the Auction Block

One of his preferred brands was Husqvarna (another, seen here, was Triumph) and to the delight of motorcycle enthusiasts and McQueen fans alike, one of his bikes will soon be in the hands of a new owner. This 1970 Husqvarna 400 Cross owned and ridden by Steve McQueen will be up for auction on January 10th, at Bally’s Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas, by Bonhams. The motorcycle comes with an exhaustive quantity of documents supporting its provenance and authenticity.
