this bike has sat in storage for 10 years in California and eventually brought it down to new orleans only to sit in my parent home for the last 2 years. finally got a friend mechanic to check it out and he went through it changing filters, brakes and brake lines, new battery. I gave it my own brand of TLC with adding mirrors, cleaning chrome and painting motor and components.
I am second female owner and really nevervrode it. I just can't hold it uo as i use too. it is a heavy bike. |

Rea and Haslam Re-Sign with Pata Honda for 2014 WSBK Championship
Tue, 01 Oct 2013The Pata Honda racing team announced it has re-signed Jonathan Rea and Leon Haslam to compete in the 2014 World Superbike Championship. It’s been a disappointing season for both rider, thanks in large part to injuries. Rea is currently on the shelf with a fractured femur sustained in a crash at Nurburgring while Haslam also missed several rounds earlier in the season because of a broken leg.
AMA Pro Flat Track Stars to Face Off in Ride Academy “Race of Legends”
Fri, 12 Apr 2013When the AMA Flat Track stars of today compete at the spring Springfield Mile, May 26 at the Illinois State Fairgrounds, they will be joined by the stars of the past, taking part in the “Ride of Legends“. Hosted by the Illinois Motorcycle Dealers Association and Ride Academy, a riding school founded by multiple Grand National race winner Mike Hacker, the “Ride of Legends” exhibition race will feature several other past Grand National event winners racing each other on Honda dirt bikes. Joining Hacker will be Jay Springsteen, Joe Kopp, Rich King, Ronnie Jones, Steve Beattie, Steve Moorehead and Chris Carr.
