Honda Z50 circa 1972. 3 speed no clutch automatic, chrome fenders.
New tires, points, condenser, ignition coil, all lights work. Bike is in excellent original condition, including never used original spark plug tool. No rips or tears on seat. Has a couple of minor "knee pings" on tank as pictured. Always starts on first easy kick. These little Z50's are the quintessential "pit bikes" for an adult or a perfect ride for a child and are very collectible. Sold as is with no warranties expressed or implied. Happy bidding. |

Honda Zoomer X Prototype – New Ruckus Concept Revealed in Thailand
Wed, 28 Mar 2012Honda Thailand unveiled a new prototype at the 2012 Bangkok International Motor Show showcasing the next generation of the Ruckus scooter. Known as the Zoomer in other markets, the Honda Ruckus is probably best known for its non-traditional scooter styling, with the usual tiny tires and wasp-like body replaced by a fat rubbers and exposed tube frame. The Honda Zoomer X maintains the original’s rugged-looking tires but instead of the exposed tubes, the Zoomer X has a boxy-looking structure, though like the original the space under the seat is exposed to the elements, so if you want to store something there you might have to break out the bungee cords.
Honda Announces Returning 2013 Models with New Colors
Tue, 04 Sep 2012As we mentioned in an earlier post about the Repsol edition CBR250R, American Honda has announced a number of returning models for 2013 featuring new color schemes. The returning models include the big touring Gold Wing, the Fury chopper, the 1312cc Sabre, Stateline and Interstate cruisers, the 750cc Shadow cruisers, the entry-level Rebel and the XR650L dual-sport. All model come back unchanged except for the paint, but that’s not necessarily a bad thing.
Spies Second at Sepang Test Day Two; Lorenzo Third
Wed, 01 Feb 2012Yamaha factory rider Ben Spies led for most to the second day of MotoGP testing at Sepang before settling for the second best lap the time sheets behind defending World Champion Casey Stoner. Spies rode 37 laps and recorded a time of 2:01.052, which stood as the fastest lap in the morning session. That time was surpassed later in the afternoon by Repsol Honda rider Stoner by 0.157 seconds.
