Honda XL250 description

This is a good running original bike. It is missing a few parts and has some scratches and dings but for the most part is in great shape. The clutch and transmission work well and it starts on the first kick.  It has a new chain and both sprockets. As expected both tires are weather checked and worn.  The seat has been recovered with a vinyl and needs to be done right. If you read this far you probably know this bike is getting hard to find. As seen in the pics both side covers are missing and the rear fender is cracked and there is a small ding in the right side of the tank. The kill switch is broken as well as the dimmer switch. The battery cover is there but someone has cut the positive cable. In Wyoming prior to 1984 no title was issued for dirt bikes. Because of this they make it easy to originate a new title. I have done the VIN inspection and started the process which takes two weeks.  I will guarantee clear title.

Stoner Back on Top on Day 2 of MotoGP Test in Sepang

Wed, 01 Feb 2012

Casey Stoner made his return to the track after missing the first day of the MotoGP pre-season test at Sepang and showed everyone why he deserved the #1 plate. After skipping the first day of the test due to back pain, Stoner was back on the Repsol Honda RC213V and set the top lap time of all riders. Stoner rode 29 laps and set the pace with a lap time of 2:00.895, 0.157 seconds faster than Ben Spies and 0.173 seconds ahead of Jorge Lorenzo.

Having a Randy Mamola moment

Thu, 10 May 2012

Back in 1985 Randy Mamola was captured on film performing the most miraculous save of all time, hanging on for dear life as his Honda NSR500 tried to fling him from his seat. Recently, we've seen some impromptu homages to the original with Jonathan Rea at Assen and the near-save from Jakub Kornfeil in the Moto3 race at Jerez. Now we have on-board footage of American racer Genki Hagata calming a high-side at the Infineon Raceway in California.

WSBK 2013: Phillip Island Race Report

Mon, 25 Feb 2013

Max Biaggi who? The Roman Emperor’s retirement after winning the 2012 World Superbike Championship marked the end of an era for Aprilia, with the 2013 campaign marking the first without Biaggi since the Italian manufacturer came back to the WSBK scene with the RSV4. If Aprilia misses its two-time WSBK Champion, it sure didn’t show it with a dominating display at the 2013 season opener in Australia.
