Honda Valkyrie description

Up for auction is a 2014 Honda GL1800CAE Valkyrie muscle cruiser motorcycle. We are a multi-line motorcycle dealership, selling new Kawasaki, Honda, Suzuki & BMW motorcycles in addition to a few other brands. This Honda motorcycle was recently acquired in trade toward the purchase of a new BMW motorcycle.  This one owner Honda Valkyrie was purchased brand new from us back in July 2014.  Our dealership has serviced it, maintained it, and kept it in good mechanical condition over the past few years.  Our Honda authorized service department has performed an overall inspection & safety check on this motorcycle, and everything is in good working condition.

This Honda motorcycle is in excellent mechanical and cosmetic condition as well.  This Valkyrie has the upgraded solo rider seat, leather saddlebags, and LED Fog Lights.   This GL1800CAE has just over 1,740 miles and we hold a clean Massachusetts Title for this bike.  This Honda 1800cc 6-cyclinder engine starts easy, runs strong, transmission shifts through all the gears smoothly, so this motorcycle should bring the next owner years of wonderful riding.  Please feel free to call 617-275-3784, with any questions or concerns during normal business hours.  Trades are accepted and financing is available for local buyers, but please inquire before bidding!

Yamaha Planning Sub-$500 Model to Undercut Honda Dream Yuga

Fri, 25 May 2012

Not long after Honda launched its ultra low-cost Dream Yuga in India, Yamaha announced it is considering a new own model that will be nearly 40% cheaper. The 109cc Dream Yuga is Honda‘s latest weapon in the battle for India’s 13-million unit per year motorcycle market. Priced at 44,642 Indian rupees (US$806), the Dream Yuga is the most affordable Honda model available in India.

Schoolboy Heroes

Fri, 04 Mar 2011

A wet and grey day in Calais in 1992 wouldn’t be the obvious situation for a life changing experience, but for a 11 year old lad on a boring booze cruise from Dover this is exactly what happened. Pockets bulging with funny money I headed to the Tabac for the obligatory bangers, dirty playing cards and some sweets.  Then it happened, I stood in front of the magazine rack and reached up, as if drawn by an external force.  At the time I wasn’t tall enough for Playboy or L’ Escort so settled for a copy of Moto Verte, the French motocross mag.  Life would never be the same again. Inside there was a double page spread, with a fresh faced Jeremy McGrath resting a leg over his #15 Honda CR125.  Sporting a pair of fluro MX trousers with a, now retro, bright white surname emblazoned jersey, and casting an eye over a seriously vast motocross park.  I stared at this Sinisalo advert all the way home, partly because all the articles were in foreign, but also because I was transfixed.  What and how do I become a motocross champion?

Magneti Marelli to Supply Electronics System to MotoGP Teams

Wed, 26 Sep 2012

It’s no secret that promoter Dorna Motorsports has been trying to push a standardized electronics control unit for teams in the MotoGP World Championship. The lack of a top-tier electronics package has been one of the biggest challenges faced by MotoGP’s claiming rule teams, and a spec ECU would narrow the gap between the CRT bikes and the factory prototypes. The manufacturers competing in the series, Honda, Ducati and Yamaha, understandably are resistant to the idea considering the effort they’ve put in to develop their electronics systems.
