I am selling my 1999 Honda Valkyrie; I have owned it for 6 years and I am the second owner. It has just over 17,000 miles; I have put 5000 miles on it since I have owned it. It runs great and has never given me any trouble; it goes down the road very nicely - no hesitations, no vibrations. The bike has always been adult owned and operated, and has never been raced, dropped, modified, or abused.
The battery was replaced 2 or 3 years ago, and so was the front tire at about the same time. The paint is in very good condition, with only a couple of small dings that one would basically have to look for in order to notice. The chrome is all in very nice shape with no rust or pitting. There are no leaks at all. Lights all work as they should. The left side cover (chromed plastic) has an issue with one of the hidden snaps, - it currently has some clear tape holding it on. The original yellow side covers will be included with the bike; the rear back rest/sissy bar is also included, along with some other misc. parts. Mackenzie Tricker Looks To Pad WMX Points Lead At Glen Helen Raceway Sunday
Thu, 10 Apr 2014Having won the opening two rounds of the 2014 Women’s Motocross Championship (WMX) – at the AMA sanctioned Ricky Carmichael Amateur Supercross at Daytona International Speedway in Florida, and at the James Stewart Freestone Spring Championship in Wortham, Texas, Australia’s Mackenzie Tricker comes into this weekend’s race at Glen Helen Raceway in San Bernardino, California, with momentum on her side and a 17-point lead in the series standings. Round three of the Women’s Motocross Championship (WMX) will run in conjunction with the FMF California Classic, which runs from April 9 through April 13, with both WMX motos taking place on Sunday. So far, Tricker has won three of the four motos held to date, and the Yamaha-backed rider is hoping to pad her lead in the series standings with a good finish this weekend.
Nicky Hayden Makes Aspar Team Debut Testing Honda RCV1000R
Tue, 12 Nov 2013American racer Nicky Hayden made his first appearance with the Aspar Team, testing the Honda RCV1000R production racer at the official MotoGP post-season test at Spain’s Valencia circuit. Hayden completed 76 laps on the RCV1000R, posting a top lap time of 1:32.576, putting him 13th on the time sheet. The test time was 0.188 seconds faster than his top lap time in Sunday’s race at Valencia on the Ducati Desmosedici.
