His skills on the blacktop are well known by now, but his speed in the dirt opened some eyes as he demonstrated during the Superprestigio, an invitational dirt track event revived by Marquez to have a little fun in the off season and showcase the skills of some of the top riders in the world. Marquez handily won the Superprestigio class for grand prix racers, while the Open class, comprised of non GP riders, was won by that class’ most notable entry: American Brad Baker, the reigning AMA Grand National Champion.

Monster Energy Kawasaki’s Ryan Villopoto dominated the 450SX Class on Saturday night in front of a record crowd in Oakland, CA.   In front of a record crowd of 46,896, Monster Energy Kawasaki’s Ryan Villopoto raced to his second-consecutive AMA Supercross victory, an FIM World Championship, 450SX Class Main Event win at O.co Coliseum in Oakland, CA on Saturday night. Rockstar Energy Racing’s Davi Millsaps finished in second, and Red Bull KTM’s Ryan Dungey followed in third.

Point six of a BHP may not sound like much but, in my book, any gain is a good gain, especially when it’s as simple as changing a chain and sprockets. After all, you're going to have to do it sooner or later when your old chain and sprockets die their death. I’ve always been interested in what gains are available in the drive train.
