Honda VTX description

Great bargain, must sell. This 06 Honda VTX 1300C is priced $2,000+ LESS THAN the average retail value listed by NADA, a 30% discount. One owner, stock/no-mods, very good condition, runs great, well maintained, no synthetic oil used, less than 10,000 miles. Cosmetically, there are a few minor scratches here and there and a small ding on the tank (see picture). Great bike, tremendous value. Contact me if you'd like additional pictures or have any questions - V-twin delivers strong low-end and mid-range torque, with ample power for passing and relaxed cruising. - Shaft final-drive system provides smooth, low-maintenance operation. - Five-speed transmission with carefully selected gear ratios for exciting roll-on performance. - Unique dry-sump oil system utilizes a closed-crankcase design and places the oil tank inside the gearbox case for improved power, and a lower engine height, allowing optimum rider ergonomics and a low 27.0-inch seat height. - Massive tubular steel frame contains the engine's power and gives the VTX a long, low, classic stance. - Large 41mm extended front fork provides 5.1 inches of plush yet responsive travel. - Dual chromed rear shocks with five-position preload adjustment feature an advanced internal valve system for a comfortable ride. - Front disc brake features a twin-piston caliper with a large-diameter 336mm stainless steel rotor. Combined with the rear single-piston caliper and 296mm stainless steel rotor, the brakes provide excellent stopping power. - Extensive chrome finishing of engine parts includes cylinder-head covers, valve inspection covers, airbox cover, left crankcase cover, clutch cover and left-rear engine cover. - Custom cast wheels give the VTX1300C a performance-custom profile. - A beefy 170/80-15 rear tire puts the VTX's power to the ground and provides exceptional traction. - Minimalist-design front and rear fenders complement the VTX's street-rod styling. - Artfully designed tank-mounted instruments. Dual exhaust with shorter pipes for street-rod look. $3,999.00 2147345328

NEW: Yoshimura ends cans for Honda CB1000R

Wed, 10 Feb 2010

LEGENDARY JAPANESE tuning house Yoshimura has designed a series of slip-on performance end cans for Honda’s naked CB1000R.The brand new EEC-approved cans bolt straight onto the bike's exiting pipework and feature a stainless steel end cone and integral lower Yoshimura logoed cat-converter heat shield. Even with the dB-Killer baffle in place peak power is improved, as is mid-range torque with further performance gains available if the baffle is removed.A full race mid-pipe, extracting yet more power is on the way and will be available later in the year. The Yoshimura CB1000R Slip-On, including the supplied heat shield, is over 4kgs lighter than the OE item, the Carbon sleeve, even more so at just 4.65kg.Part Number/Sleeve Type/Weight/RRP including VAT1A0-480-5B50         Stainless Steel           2.61kg                       £712.711A0-480-5B80          Titanium                    2.45kg                        £770.181A0-480-5B80B         Titan Blue                 2.45kg                        £850.651A0-480-5B90          Carbon                      2.35kg                        £896.631A0-480-5B20          Metal Magic               2.61kg                        £793.17         Noise Output (decibels)Standard end can: 94dB    @ 5,000rpmYoshimura EEC Slip-On:  94.5dB @ 5,000rpm(with db-killer in place)
