Honda VTX description

2003 Honda VTX1800C. I bought this bike 5 years ago and have loved riding it. I have upgraded to a larger bagger bike and need to let it go. It has never been laid down, everything is in excellent condition. All Maintenance and Repairs complete and ready to ride. The power on this bike is awesome and the low center of gravity allows you to sweep corners like a sport bike. I have added the items listed below since I have owned it. Oil changed every 2000 miles or less depending how much riding that season.

1. Front Header Pipes and Muffler
2. Power Commander
3. Air Charger Air Filter
4. LED Turn Signals Front and Rear
5. Mustang Front and Rear Seats
6. New Rear Shocks
7. New Front Fork Springs, Fresh Seals and Oil
8. Heavy Duty Clutch Pack
9. Charcoal Inlay Painted On Fuel Tank
10. Tachometer
11. Chrome Radiator Cover
12. LED Front and Rear Turn Signals
13. Motorcycle Cover
14. Quick Disconnect Windshield (Not Shown)

Gardner chilling out and taking it easy

Wed, 14 Jul 2010

Away from the pressures of being a Grand Prix racer in the days when fierce on-track battles and unexpected highsides were common place, Wayne Gardner throws a Honda VFR750F around Oran Park in Australia. The bike that Wayne is likely to be riding is special VFR750F, that was given the codename '6X'. The VFR was an experiment with prototype components including titanium valves and magnesium flat-slide carburetors, the result was the bike that weighed less than a factory RC30.

Pit Biking; good clean fun for all the family

Wed, 01 Feb 2012

If you haven’t tried Pit Biking yet, you’re missing out on some incredible fun, and it won’t break the bank. The majority of pit bikes are of Chinese origin and I guess, are best described as modern day monkey bikes. Yes Chinese, and I’ve witnessed them being thrashed round all day long without missing a beat, so Jonny Wong and co. are finally getting there on quality and reliability!  Although Pit Bikes are designed for off road use, an extra few hundred quid spent on matching up wheels, fitting tarmac tyres and some crash protection will mean you’re track ready for a total of around £600.

Wed, 05 Sep 2012

Miguel Duhamel is returning to action to race in the FIM e-Power International Championship for Lightning Motorcycles. The five-time Daytona 200 winner will ride the Lightning Barracuda electric motorcycle for the joint FIM and TTXGP race at Le Mans , and Motorcycle.com had a role in setting up the connection. The topic of a rider for Le Mans came up during the preparations for Associate Editor Troy Siahaan‘s exclusive test of the Lightning race bike last month.
