Honda Shadow description

For sale 2005 Honda Shadow Sabre VT1100C2 motorcycle with 16K miles. The bike is in great condition with tons of accessories. It has Metzler Marathon tires with only about 2000 miles on them, Honda OEM saddle bags, tank strap, rear bag, luggage rack and auxiliary front lights. Also has removable shorty windshield, cycle sounds speaker system, and forward controls. It sounds great with the Cobra exhaust system with the carburetors re-jetted to match. It has always been garage kept and well maintained, I just put in a new lithium ion battery. I snapped a few pictures of the only scratches I noticed, the tank has a small dent and some scratches from where I dropped it while re-jetting the carbs. Very nice bike, I just don't have the time to ride it right now, and it is time to sell. I even have a riding jacket and dust cover I will through in. Email me with any questions you might have. Buyer is responsible to pick up motorcycle or make any shipping arrangements.

475cc NS400R. Marquez and Spencer.

Wed, 13 Nov 2013

Winter may be here but I seem to be as busier than ever, maybe the economy is finally turning around. At my last UK track day of the year I had some fun testing this little beauty.  It’s a late eighties NS400 triple bored out to 475cc and it felt sweet as I zinged round the GP Arena track at Silverstone.   Being stripped bare to reduce weight gives it a very respectable power to weight ratio which means it could live with 600s (on the twisty bits at least).

Stoner explains the tank slapper

Mon, 03 Oct 2011

Casey Stoner looked all set to win at Motegi, after translating his pole position into an early race-lead. But coming over the crest on the back straight his bike momentarily lost control in a tank slapper. Regaining composure the championship leader was forced to pump his brakes to get the pads back in place, with the rear-wheel bouncing in the air he ran out of time and space to make the 90 degree right hander and was forced to run into the gravel.

WSBK: 2012 Moscow Results

Mon, 27 Aug 2012

The historic race first-ever World Superbike Championship round in Russia provided plenty of drama with several top riders crashing out of both races and a new leader emerge in the chase for the 2012 WSBK Championship. Superpole qualifying made for four different manufacturers lining up in the first row of the grid, with Carlos Checa taking pole position for Althea Ducati ahead of Kawasaki‘s Tom Sykes, Aprilia‘s Eugene Laverty and BMW rider Leon Haslam. A slightly damp and unfamiliar track likely contributed to a number of crashes and collisions.
