Suzuki announced it will present a new electric mini-bike concept at the 2013 Tokyo Motor Show. The new concept will be called the Extrigger which is a combination of the words Electric Crossover and Trigger. At first glance, it’s easy to see the resemblance between the Suzuki Extrigger and the Honda Grom.

Whenever the calendar shifts to a major Japanese race, such as the Suzuka 8hr, one of the more amusing things to do is glance down the team sheet This years highlight for me has to be team Moto Bum, with other stand outs including aprilia D.D.BOYS, Team Etching Factory Yamaha and MITO MOTO & e'freaks Honda. Looking back through the ages some of the great Japanese team names have been Burning Blood Racing Team, Dog Fight Racing and Team Moto Space amongst others. Hero MotoCorp Reveals RNT 150 Turbo Direct Injection Diesel Concept

Hero MotoCorp revealed a new scooter concept powered by a 150cc turbocharged direct injection diesel engine. And if that isn’t unique enough, the concept is also two-wheel drive, with an electric motor in the front wheel hub. It’s too soon to know when the Hero RNT 150 TDI concept will ever make it to serial production, but the scooter does represent a technological show of force, proving that Hero can carry on its own research and development following its split from longtime partner Honda.
