2013 Honda CB150R Streetfire Unveiled in Indonesia

Honda‘s Indonesian affiliate Astra Honda Motor unveiled a new CB150R Streetfire at the Jakarta Motorcycle Show. At this point, the Streetfire is only destined for the Indonesia market as the naked version of the Honda CBR150R (which itself a smaller version of the CBR250R), but it does give us an idea of what a potential CB250R would look like, if Honda decides to produce one. The Honda CB150R Streetfire is powered by the 150cc liquid-cooled  engine as the CBR150R.

Ronax 500 – the Street Legal Two-Stroke GP Replica

After teasing us for nearly two months, German brand Ronax has revealed its 500cc two-stroke sportbike. Ronax isn’t saying it’s a street-legal replica of the Honda NSR500 that Valentino Rossi rode to win the 2001 Grand Prix world championship – probably because they legally can’t – but that’s essentially what the 500 is. Andrea Antonelli Dies After Moscow World Supersport Crash

Italian racer Andrea Antonelli succombed to injuries suffered in a crash during the World Supersport race at Moscow Raceway in Russia. The Go Eleven Kawasaki racer crashed on the final corner of the opening lap in very wet conditions, and was struck by Pata Honda racer Lorenzo Zanetti. The race was immediately red-flagged and Antonelli was taken away by ambulance while medical staff attempted to resuscitate him, but the 25-year-old was pronounced dead at 2:10 pm local time.
