2013 HONDA INTERSTATE ABS, INTERSTATE ABSIt's OK to stare. We expect it.Don’t say we didn’t warn you—one look and you won’t be able to tear your eyes off the gorgeous Interstate custom. Like its equally stunning Stateline stable mate, this 1312cc V-twin is the ultimate expression of progressive retro cruiser styling, with one big difference: It’s built to go the (long) distance, with touring features like floorboards, roomy leather-clad saddlebags, and a custom windscreen.Sonic Vroom: With its potent 1312cc, 52º V-twin, the Interstate delivers strong low- and mid-range torque, ample passing power, and a pulsing exhaust note that is downright hypnotic.

Press launches - the ugly truth. Part 3

Sun, 03 Apr 2011

So with an afternoon of sightseeing completed (a rare luxury on most launches) it's back to the hotel for the press conference. These are you usually long winded, tooth pulling affairs with Japanese technicians insisting on speaking their bestest engrish which only serves to elongate the proceedings. Nothing kills a presentation more than reading every word of a powerpoint slide verbatum, even thought the viewers can read exactly the same words (and probably a lot faster).  The Crossrunner presentation was mercifully brief and snappy followed by dinner in the hotel and a reasonably early night as everyone had already been up for twenty hours.
