2012 HONDA Interstate ABS, The Honda Interstate Base is a cruiser style motorcycle with an MSRP of $13,240 and is carryover for 2012. Power is provided by a 4-stroke, 1312cc, liquid cooled, SOHC, v twin engine with electric starter. The engine is paired with a 5-Speed manual transmission and total fuel capacity is 4.4 gallons. The Interstate Base rides on aluminum wheels with a 140/80 R17 front tire and a 170/80 R15 rear tire. The front suspension is a telescopic fork while the rear suspension is a twin sided swing arm. Front hydraulic disc brakes and rear hydraulic disc brakes provide stopping power. The Interstate Base comes standard with a one-piece, 2-passenger seat. Honda NC700S and NC700X Coming to Canada – US Availability Still Uncertain

American Honda has not included the recently revealed NC700S and NC700X models in its 2012 list of offerings, but it looks like the two motorcycles will be available in Canada. Honda Canada has not made an official announcement but a dealership in Kelowna, B.C., has published a press release that appears to have come directly from Honda Canada saying the two models will be available in Canada in the summer of 2012. Honda Announces New 125cc Scooter Engine with Idle Stop

Honda announced it is developing a new 125cc scooter engine with an idle stop system promising 25% better fuel economy than existing engines. The announcement comes alongside the announcement of a new 700cc engine which will be introduced with the Honda Integra scooter. The new engine will be introduced in a variety of scooter models around the world in 2012.
