Honda Other description

2001 Honda Sabre , Awesome bike in excellent condition! I am the second owner. I bought it stock and added Hard Krome 2-3/4 Big Straight pipes, heel rests, removable National Cycle locking hard bags, a National Cycle quick release windshield (no tools necessary), Lindby highway bars, luggage rack and sissy bar, chrome horn cover and tail light cover. Will also throw in a cover and T-Bag travel bag with net top and roll if interested...only used 5 or 6 times. I have taken several long trips on this bike so the majority of the miles are highway miles. This bike has been my baby and it breaks my heart to sell it, but I am moving and have no place to store it. I am taking it in to be serviced later this week (new battery, oil change, etc.) so it may not be available to see in person until after Monday, September 30th. There is a minor scratch on the front fender which was there when I bought it and a minor ding on the rear fender which did not break the paint...not very noticeable. I will try to take photos of them, but please let me know if you'd like any additional views. $4,500.00 3038288807

Suzuka Eight Hour capers

Mon, 05 Sep 2011

Chatting to TT legend John McGuiness recently about his first Suzuka Eight Hour experience got me thinking of a few capers the boys and me managed a few years back at what is still Japan's most important race of the season. It is a unique event that starts at 11am and finishes at 7pm making  it a pukka endurance race as the last hour is run with headlights on in the dark. It is essentially an eight hour sprint that showcases the trickest endurance machinery and manufacturer’s sales can be affected the following year depending on who wins or loses.

John Gibson had a vision 15 years ago to sell ice cream from a motorcycle sidecar, inspired while running as he listening to motivational guru, Tony Robins. After years of experimenting with different bikes and setups, including using the Russian made Ural (he once owned a Ural dealership), Gibson, finally settled on the Honda 750 Shadow and the Harley-Davidson 883 Sportster. The Cool Cycles Ice Cream Company is open for business, the headquarters are located in Tacoma, WA where they will start selling franchises within a 100 mile radius, the Los Angeles area will be next and Las Vegas to follow.
