2013 Long Beach International Motorcycle Show Report

Today the motorcycle press descended upon the Long Beach Convention Center to attend media day at the annual International Motorcycle Show. After feasting from a continental breakfast buffet the discerning journalists set to the task of reporting on the bounty of new model motorcycles – most of which has been previously showcased in our November EICMA reporting. 2012 Honda NSF250R Race Bike Coming to America

American Honda announced it is bringing the new 2012 HRC NSF250R Moto3-spec race bike to the U.S. Though it was developed primarily for competition in the Moto3 World Championship, the 249cc Honda NSF250R will be legal for some racing classes in the U.S. including in USGPRU and WERA.

Retro-Styled Dual Sport Revealed in Honda Patent Application

A newly-published patent application reveals Honda is working on a retro-styled dual sport. The application, filed with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office, reveals a streetbike with round headlight and mirrors but with hand guards, wire spokes and a high-rising exhaust suggesting some off-road capability.
