Honda Other description

This first gen '900RR is not particularly low mileage, nor is it in 100% perfect, mint, original condition. It is, however, an extremely clean, well running example and a great bike to ride.2 owners from new. The second owner bought the bike via private party out the printed Cycle Trader 'mag (remember those?) in 2004 at 12k miles. The story goes that the first owner was an adult who pre-owned the bike for sport touring. Owner #2 got the miles up to the low/mid 20's by 2008 or so. Since then the bike has languished in his auto detail shop and not ridden very much at all. The mileage reading today is 24280.There are a lot of service receipts from RMC and other shops over the years. I just had Walter Myers make the bike ready for sale and it did not need much. The steering head bearings needed service and we replaced a weepy shift shaft seal. Walter commented that the bike ran/operated as well as any CBR900RR he had seen in a long time.Cosmetically, I wish I could say the bike is a flawless gem. Sadly it is not. There was an unfortunate incident involving moving the bike around in the second owner's mother'e garage that resulted in a left side tipover. The fuel tank met up with a flower pot and that flower pot left its mark. The left side engine cover bears some damage from that day as well. The bike is for the most part original and unmodified. It has a red chain, a red steering stem nut, aftermarket grips and bar-ends, a tinted windscreen, smaller winkers, left side yellow headlamp bulb, a trimmed rear fender and a tank bra.Includes 1 original key, one copy, the owner's manual and toolkit, service records and the Cycle Trader ad from 2004.call/text Kie at Red Label Moto

Front wheel hopping on a 'Blade

Wed, 25 Aug 2010

In my youth I used to spend hours with my mates pulling stoppies on our mountain bikes and then proceeding to hop on the front wheel for as long as we could or replicating the tricks we'd see our trials heroes perform. But the idea of doing this on a Honda Fireblade is puzzling, but stunt rider Odair Salmazo has it cracked.
