Honda Other description

Very rare 1992 NSR250R MC21 SP or SE model with dry clutch and an incredible collection of parts - spares, rebuild supplies etc.  There are almost enough parts to assemble an entire second bike with a spare engine left over.

The bike was issued a VIN in the state of New Hampshire, meaning that the bike can be registered and legally driven on the road, which is incredibly rare (be sure to check with local regulations if you are purchasing out of state to ensure this will transfer if you decide to register in your state BEFORE bidding.)

The assembled bike could be started but is due for a top end rebuild, and all new parts to do the rebuild are included.

All parts and accessories shown in the pictures above are included.  This includes MAGTEK racing wheels and JHA racing pipes.

There is no title; New Hampshire does not title vehicles older than 15 years.  A bill of sale will be provided.

Local pickup only, will not ship.  Bike and all included parts can be seen in Portsmouth, New Hampshire if you're able to come by.

Takegawa are a company based on Osaka, Japan. They make so many hop-up parts for small Honda engines that it's possible to build a brand new, complete engine from their catalogue using no Honda parts at all. Four valve heads, double overhead camshaft kits, stroker cranks, big bore Nikasil barrels, slipper pistons, dry clutches, huge carbs and close ratio gear kits are all available.

Electric Honda Motorcycle to Debut Next Year

According to Honda’s head of motorcycle operations, Tatsuhiro Oyama, the lithium-ion battery powered motorcycle will target corporate customers which may include Japan Post and delivery companies, the bike will debut in Japan next year. Oyama, made the announcement on August 1st at a test drive event in Motegi, Japan. Honda started building a battery factory earlier this year with joint-venture partner GS Yuasa, manufacturing batteries for Honda’s electric hybrid cars but Oyama declined to disclose the motorcycle battery supplier.

Honda Gold Wing Brake Recall – Round 2

Tue, 09 Sep 2014

While Honda has never seemed like a company to follow the old saw “We do it right because we do it twice,” the company has just announced a second recall of 126,000 GL 1800 and GL 1800A models to address a dragging rear brake problem that is serious enough to potentially cause a fire. We feel comfortable saying that this is certainly not the type of heated seats Gold Wing riders would want to have. The affected models come from a variety of years.
