Honda Other description

1987 Honda Fat Cat TR200 for sale.   I am the 2nd owner and have owned this for many, many years. It has been garage kept, ridden very little, and is in very good  condition. The Fat Cat was only made for 2 years (86-87). They are very rare and hard to find! This one runs perfectly. It is all original (except bar pad) and it has a new battery. Original tires still have good tread! Has electric start and semi automatic clutch (foot shift). The left sticker has always been there, but just recently disappeared.  These are really fun to ride, especially in the snow! Really hate to sell. Call Earlywine Racing for more info at 606-883-3098 or email earlywine_racing@yahoo.com.  KY is a non titling state so there is no title. If your state requires a title, I can write a Bill of Sale and your state has to issue you a title from my Bill of Sale.  Can pick up at our facility just outside Maysville, KY 41056. Or arrange your own shipping. No Reserve,

Suzuka Eight Hour capers

Mon, 05 Sep 2011

Chatting to TT legend John McGuiness recently about his first Suzuka Eight Hour experience got me thinking of a few capers the boys and me managed a few years back at what is still Japan's most important race of the season. It is a unique event that starts at 11am and finishes at 7pm making  it a pukka endurance race as the last hour is run with headlights on in the dark. It is essentially an eight hour sprint that showcases the trickest endurance machinery and manufacturer’s sales can be affected the following year depending on who wins or loses.

2014 WSBK – Sepang Results

Mon, 09 Jun 2014

The first ever World Superbike round in Malaysia offered a plenty of drama including both factory Kawasaki riders crashing out on the first lap, a red flagged second race and an overall impressive outing by Aprilia. Under pressure for his lack of results so far this season, Marco Melandri impressed, earning the double for his first career wins on the RSV4 Factory. Aprilia riders led every lap in both races at Sepang, including the red-flagged initial start for Race 2, with Sylvain Guintoli joining his teammate on the podium with a pair of second-place finishes.

US Motorcycle Thefts Down 6% in 2011

Tue, 09 Oct 2012

Americans reported 46,667 motorcycle thefts in 2011, a 6% decrease from 49,791 stolen motorcycles in 2010, reports the National Insurance Crime Bureau. Despite the drop in reported thefts, the non-profit organization representing nearly 1100 property and casualty insurance companies says the theft rate still averages out to one motorcycle stolen every 11 minutes in the U.S. The numbers were published in the NICB’s 2011 ForeCAST Report which examined theft reports as well as recoveries.
