I have a 1985 Honda CH150D Elite Deluxe for sale in exceptional condition. Tires are new, oil has recently been changed, coolant is full, no leaks. Has custom crash bars, custom trunk, custom clearance and 3rd brake light, custom windshield, cover, and not 1 original piece is missing. I spent nearly a year restoring this scooter, and am ready to move on from it (it was a project from the beginning, I do this as a hobby). This is a Japanese built scooter, 153cc water cooled, and it will do nearly 70mph (typical cruising flat speed is 61-63 depending on rider and cargo weight). Mileage is 1812. I have everything for this scooter including the owner's manual AND the title. I have kept a complete list of all investment put into the scooter in order to restore it down to the last bolt, and what I am selling it for is almost what I put into it, so I will be FIRM on the selling price. He was doing some one-on-one instruction at a two-day Focused Events track bash, the first to be held at the newly reopened Leicestershire circuit. I was really interested in what they’d done to the track and the new chicane looks the business.

We're ageing because less people are passing their bike test each year (roughly 30,000 last year compared to 50,000 for the 10 years before the new two-part test) and so not only is the pool not growing it's not even being replenished and so the average age isn't being diluted down by yoof. When the going gets tough in any situation, you really get to see who's got their shit-sorted and who's light enough on their feet to adapt to change.

Tue, 11 Dec 2012This ex-Fred Markel RC30 is coming up for auction with Bonhams in Feb 2013. It's a special bike. Merkel won the American championship three years in a row for Honda but was let go after controverial allegations were rumoured.
