And a few models such as Honda’s NC700S and X, Kawasaki’s Versys 1000 and CRP’s Energica were unveiled without heavy prior fanfare, but gasps of surprise weren’t heard when the wraps were taken off Triumph’s Tiger 1200 Explorer, Husqvarna’s Nuda or MV Augusta’s F3 675 among others, whose existences were revealed months in advance of the show. 2014 Honda CB1100 EX Revealed

Alongside the updated 2014 CB1100, Honda revealed a new variant it calls the CB1100 EX. Both 2014 models were announced at the Tokyo Motor Show but we’re still waiting to hear whether Honda will be coming stateside. The difference between the regular CB1100 and the EX are not that apparent, and at quick glance, it may be difficult to tell them apart.

Motorcycle Results From The 2013 Pikes Peak International Hill Climb

The 91st running of the Pikes Peak International Hill Climb is in the books, and while much of the media attention focused on Sebastien Loeb demolishing the outright course record, setting the first eight-minute lap with a 8:13.878 — over 90 seconds faster than the previous lap record —in his Peugeot 208 T16, history was made in the motorcycle divisions as well. Below are the times for all the motorcycle competitors in this year’s event. As expected, Carlin Dunne aboard the Lightning electric superbike, took top honors among all motorcycle competitors, marking the first time an electric motorcycle has done so.
