Originally sold in Arizona, and garaged most of the time, it now has a well taken care of 23,000 original miles. All matching keys for gas cap, fairing, side saddlebag/hard cases, helmet locks and trunk. It comes with a rear seat/trunk set up to switch from 1 rider to 2 in a matter of seconds. This 1 has been professionally geared up with the 83 Gl 650 transmission, clutch and primary gear which drops the RPM's by 1000 and makes this bike, with the mod, a very ergonomic and economical breeze to cruise on at interstate speeds. He topped the timesheets on the first day of testing at Phillip Island, setting a time of 1:33.521, putting him at near lap-record pace. Second on the day was Dutchman Michael van der Mark, aboard the Pata Honda CBR600RR.
