This 1981 CX500 has a custom paint job with a few flows here and there. Custom seat and tail section. The bike has cbr600rr forks/front end. Front tire is new(120/90-17, the last picture shows the bike with the original tire before I swapped it), I have the new rear tire but I have not installed it yet. I also have a set of rear break shoes that will go with the bike, the rear brakes on the bike now squeak a tiny bit, the front brakes are full of life. The small holes on either side of the tail section are for turn signal mounting, if desired. In the photo's it shows the cbr grips and extensions on the lefts but not the right, but I just added the grips and grip extension on the right as well. This bike is in its "work cloths", I was going to strip the entire bike down and powder coat the frame but I do not have the time right now. Since the photo's, I have added a new set of gold colored air shocks, the shocks in the photo's will go with the bike. It handles wonderfully with the cbr front end. I have a rejet kit 90/120 for the carbs which I have not installed yet. Honda CBR250R Challenge Series Announced for 2012 Canadian Superbike Season
Mon, 19 Dec 2011Honda Canada has officially announced a new racing series featuring its CBR250R entry-level sportbike, to be held at 2012 Canadian Superbike racing events. The new Honda CBR250R Challenge series replaces the previous CBR125R spec series and will include a double-header at each CSBK National race weekend. The series is open to riders 15-25, though riders as young as 13 may be eligible if they have competed in at least three sanctioned CBR125R events.

Shawn Higbee Wins On The Brough Superior Taylor Made Racing Moto2
Thu, 01 May 2014In only its second race appearance, the Brough Superior Taylor Made Racing Moto2 bike competed in the WERA F1 and B Superbike events on April 27th at the Autoclub Speedway in Fontana, California, run in conjunction with the first round of the GEICO Superbike Shootout, presented by Yamaha. During the F1 race, rider Shawn Higbee moved up to as high as 2nd place from a 5th row start on the Brough Superior TMRGP2 bike. The TMRGP2′s lightweight all carbon fiber chassis and 600cc Honda powerplant demonstrated impressive cornering speed on the tight infield sections but could not match the top speed of the heavily modified 1000cc F1 bikes on the long straights. On the last lap Higbee was shuffled back to 4th place at the finish line.
