A pair of exceptionally nice condition Honda XL 80S motorcycles showing 76 and 227 miles respectively on the odometers. I have cleaned the carbs, installed fresh non ethanol fuel, gapped the plugs, and lubed the chains. All of the lights, blinkers, hi/lo, and brake lights work as should. Bikes run and shift well as should with low miles. Tanks are exceptionally clean inside. Both bikes have original tool kit on board and new batteries installed. This is a very nice pair of original condition his and her bikes purchased new in the spring of 1981 by a now 80 year old couple. 100 dollar non- refundable deposit due at close of auction with cash balance due at time of pick up. 2014 AMA Supercross – Indianapolis Results
Mon, 03 Mar 2014Ryan Dungey captured his first win of the 2014 AMA Supercross season in a wild main event that saw two of the top title contenders crashing on the starting straight at Indianapolis‘ Lucas Oil Stadium. Smartop MotoConcepts Suzuki rider Mike Alessi took the holeshot for the second race in a row, but the big news was incoming points leader Ryan Villopoto and Ken Roczen going down before the first turn. Roczen trailed Villopoto by nine points going into the Indianapolis round, but the KTM rookie’s hopes of overtaking the reigning champion took a blow when he went down on the straight, knocking Villopoto off in the process.
Casey Stoner to Retire After 2012 MotoGP Season
Thu, 17 May 2012Two-time MotoGP World Champion Casey Stoner has announced he will retire following the end of the 2012 season. Rumors of Stoner’s impending retirement plans have been floating around for weeks with the 26-year-old Repsol Honda racer saying he will continue racing until he no longer enjoyed it. That seems to be the case now as the 2007 and 2011 MotoGP Champion announced he will retire at a press conference ahead of this weekend’s French Grand Prix at Le Mans.
EICMA 2013: Honda NC700 Family Gets Upgraded to 750 – But Not in US
Tue, 05 Nov 2013Honda announced at the 2013 EICMA show the NC700 series would get a number of upgrades including an extra 75cc in displacement. Unfortunately, it does not look like those upgrades will make it to the U.S. As Honda made its EICMA presentation American Honda announced a number of updates to returning 2014 models including the NC700X.
