Honda Other description

Up for sale is a 1972 Honda Z50 mini trail. It is the original color, ruby red. Needs a lot of new parts, wiring harness, points, throttle cable, brake cable, on/off line, condenser, forks need to be rebuilt, new exhaust, brake pads, chain. I have a new cap for the side engine cover. It was pulled out of a barn and i begun the project then lost interest. Only things that i can see that aren't original are the side honda cover, front & rear fenders and the seat. Its still a project as it doesn't run and still needs parts to make it fully functional. The tank is completely rust free. Compression isn't all that well, may need to be rebuilt. I painted some parts with automotive grade paint. Tank, forks, and side cover have never been touched by me with touch-up paint. I WILL NOT ship or deliver anywhere local PICKUP ONLY!!  Bike would be a good winter project. Sold as is. No negotiating at pickup, if you bid that price on ebay that's what it will cost to leave with it. Cash at pickup or paypal is accepted.

2015 Honda CB300F Heading To Canada in White with ABS

Thu, 10 Jul 2014

When American Honda officially announced the new 2015 CB300F this morning, it didn’t take long to realize the naked version of the CBR300R would not be offered with anti-lock brakes. The lack of ABS, even as an option, was one of the things that differentiated it from the CBR300R which offered it at a $500 premium. That’s not the case north of the border however, as Honda Canada confirmed it will offer the CB300F with ABS as standard equipment.

New Delhi Auto Expo 2012 – Motorcycle Manufacturers Draw Battle Lines for World’s Second Largest Market

Mon, 09 Jan 2012

In past years, the biennial Auto Expo in India slipped under the radar while the industry was focused more on shows such as EICMA in Italy and Intermot in Germany. But with India’s middle class starting to flex its financial muscle while other markets continue to struggle, the New Delhi show is becoming much more prominent, with major OEMs positioning themselves to claim a piece of the India’s 13 million vehicles-a-year market. We’ve already looked at India-produced Royal Enfield’s new Thunderbird 500 and Hero Moto’s hybrid scooter concept which debuted at the Auto Expo, and today we’ll look at what the major international OEMs presented.

BMW 1000RR and the Honda C70, are they indestructible?

Wed, 20 Apr 2011

I’ve managed 1374 miles on the Michelin Power Pures (mostly on track) and although we’ve had some decent temperatures they still look like new so there’s plenty meat left for another month at least. I’ve been running them at 30psi front and 32psi rear and find they warm up after a few miles but I wouldn’t say the temperature comes any quicker than any of the competition so it has to be four miles before I get brave. I’ve had a few out the seat moments with my BMW but I have got the rear suspension  set pretty hard (8 rebound,8 compression, two turns on pre load) and in slick mode, so 190bhp in first gear at the Knockhill hairpin is always going to be dodgy.
