Honda Interstate description

This wonderful 2014 Honda Interstate 1300 has only 4,237 miles on it with the the most important upgrades equipped being the intensely comfortable Mustang Touring Seat which you can ride on all day without any fatigue or discomfort, Vance & Hines exhaust which you can't fully appreciate the wonderful sound until you hear them, and Kuryakyn grips which make for a comfortable grip without numbing long rides (I have the original seat and exhaust that come with the bike). The bike comes equipped with a full size touring windshield, beach style handlebars , and two hard case saddlebags which have a very unique opening mechanism and completely waterproof if caught in a storm (the right side saddlebag has two marks which are shown in the pictures, the bike had them on there when I bought it from the dealership so I do now know how they were caused). The bike has a 4.5 gallon tank that can easily get close to 50mpg, of course depending on riding styleThe Interstate’s 1312cc V-twin engine generates plenty of low-end torque for relaxed urban rides, but is big enough for multi-day trips on long highways or over mountain passes. Shaft final drive gives you a clean, crisp look on the street, but its maintenance reducing features are exactly what you want a thousand miles from home too. I have all the original paperwork and manuals which show I have been right on for the maintenance schedule. I absolutely love this bike and so will you.

The event’s sponsor, Monster Energy, has released a video offering a behind-the-scenes look at the event. The seven-time F1 champion was joined by TT racer John McGuinness, retired MotoGP racer Randy Momola, Moto2 racer Pol Espargaro and Keith Flint, a musician from the group Prodigy and a racer in the U.K.’s  Hottrax Endurance Championship.

Rossi Wins at Assen, but Lorenzo Is the Hero; Alpinestars Releases Crash Data

Mon, 01 Jul 2013

There’s only one thing left to say about Jorge Lorenzo’s 124 mph crash during a rainy practice session last Thursday while warming up for the TT Assen: It could have been a lot worse. The images are horrific, but thanks to groundbreaking protective gear, Lorenzo walked away with only a collarbone fracture and a heck of a tale to tell. Today, Alpinestars released a trace graph analysis of Lorenzo’s spill, thanks to data collected from his TechAir airbag suit.
