Honda Interceptor description

1987 Honda 700 VFR Interceptor

Family owned for last 19 years. Adult ridden and taken care of. Dealer maintained. Kept in climate controlled garage. Never wrecked. 20,750 original miles. Riden in nice weather only. Has only seen rain a few times in 19 years. Runs and drives excellent. Mechanically it is completely stock. Does not leak or drip anything. No mechanical modifications. Fork seals rebuilt about 3 years ago. New speedometer cable, throttle cable, battery and resealed the fuel tank this spring. Brakes, lines, chain and tires replaced 4 years ago and have about 1500 miles on them. It needs nothing mechanically.

Bike was originally white with white rims. Started to show some age so it was repainted 8 years ago in black pearl onyx. Had the rims stripped and powder coated in gray. Replaced the original clear windshield with a smoked gray one.  Original turn signals have been replaced with streamline signals. Looks very sleek and classy.  Some small nicks and minor scuffs but you have to look for them. Seat is in very good condition. No rips or tears.

Bike needs nothing. It is very reliable. Get on it and go anywhere. This is well maintained and cared for bike with great looks. If it ever needed something, it got it. A VFR that you will be proud to own. No disappointments.  Includes two helmets, riding jacket/pants, bike cover, manuals and other misc. related stuff.

Hate to sell but need the garage space back. I can be reached at 513-330-4985. Located in Cincinnati, Ohio. Clear title. You can ride it away or I can assist with shipping.  $500 deposit due within 24 hrs of auction ending. Full payment within 10 days of auction closing.

Which Repsol rider has the most podiums?

Tue, 31 Jul 2012

Dani Pedrosa and Casey Stoner reached a new milestone for Repsol Honda Team at the US Grand Prix this past weekend. After eighteen years of successes, including over 100 victories and 9 world titles, the team achieved the 300 podium landmark through Casey Stoner and Dani Pedrosa’s efforts in the tenth round of this year’s MotoGP World Championship season. The energy company and the Japanese factory joined forces in 1995, with the intention of reaching the peak of the premier class.

NZ Superbike Series Points Leader Is A Grandfather Of Three!

Tue, 14 Jan 2014

Dennis Charlett is stamping his authority on the New Zealand Superbike championship. The 45 year-old father of five and grandfather of three (no, those aren’t typos) won the first three races of the season during the series opener in Christchurch, placing him firmly at the top of the points standings heading into round two at Levels Raceway, near Timaru. The championship favorite certainly got the wake-up call as Taupo’s Suzuki rider Scott Moir raced to a convincing win in Saturday’s Superbike race, while Charlett was forced to settle for fourth place.

Gresini Unveils 2012 MotoGP and Moto3 Honda Race Bikes

Tue, 13 Mar 2012

Last season, Alvaro Bautista rode on one of the best looking motorcycles on the MotoGP grid, the Suzuki GSV-R in Rizla powder blue livery by Troy Lee Designs. This season, Bautista is riding the Gresini Honda RC213V, but instead of its previous white paint job, the Gresini machine is in a sleek black. No reason for the color change was announced, though it’s possible the choice is a sign of mourning for the late Marco Simoncelli whose place Bautista is assuming with Gresini.
