Some HISTORY
This great bike represents a very significant time in the evolution of the motorcycle; it also has been a real focal point
in the BENT BIKE retail store in Lynnwood, Washington for many, many years. Since we first opened our store several decades ago,
we've seen kids of all ages, parents and grandparents,
dogs, cats, birds and even an alpaca come in and marvel at our collection of historic, vintage motorcycles
hanging high above everyone's head. This bike
was a big part of everyone's lives at BENT BIKE, and, when it's gone, it will be missed dearly.
We hope it will find a new home where it will bring as much delight to everyone lucky enough to experience it as it has for us.

Thanks for looking.

Honda Reports Q1 2011-2012 Results

Tue, 02 Aug 2011

Honda reported a 88.3% year-on-year decrease in net profit over its first quarter ended June 30, 2011, thanks in large part to the March 11 earthquake and ensuing tsunamis in Japan. Honda reported a profit of 31.7 billion yen (US$411.1 million) over the quarter, a fraction of the 272.4 billion yen (US$3.53 billion) reported over the same quarter last year.  The decrease came mainly from a large dropoff in automobile sales. Net sales from the motorcycle division helped keep Honda in the black despite a drop in unit sales.

1954 AJS E95 May Fetch Upwards of $750K in August Pebble Beach Auction

Wed, 18 May 2011

This uber rare 1954 AJS E95, aka The Porcupine, may become the most expensive motorcycle in the world. World-famous auction house, Bonhams, has recently announced that it will handle auctioning of an ultra-rare 1954 AJS E95 during the Pebble Beach Car Week held annually in August at the Quail Lodge Golf Club in Carmel, Calif. Bonhams estimates that due to the rarity of the E95 (only four were completed by British brand AJS) it may see a bid as high as $750,000.
