Honda Gold Wing description

This motorcycle has been meticulously maintained accompanied by a completed maintenance journal since it was new.  I am the 2nd owner. I paid $9,000 for this bike two years ago. This bike is fully loaded because it is the SE plus I had some upgrades installed.

Some of the features are: Cruise control, On board air compressor with hose (still new) for adding air to your front suspension (yes front is adjustable too) and tires. Adjustable rear and front air shocks (They do not leak), am/fm cassette, reverse, 4 SPK, Smoked radio cover, but the most important radio upgrade is the 3.5mm aux input (via FM Interrupter) to add your satellite radio or play music from your phone or Mp3 player. I have also installed an accessory mount on the left side (See Pics) Lots of holes on the mount so you can install anything you want. I have some of the holes covered with Velcro but you can remove the velcro if you want to expose more mounting holes. CB with external Mic or you can use the Intercom system,  Adjustable passenger floorboards,(yes they work well) Vented windshield, foot warmers, cornering lights, LED brake light spoiler, two-tone paint. I added a few graphic decals (see Pics) that you can remove with mineral spirits if you don’t want them, illuminated handlebar switches. It’s not in the picture but included is the drivers back rest. I just never used it.  This has a custom center console with water proof lifetime warranty Teltek gauges. Teltek custom sealed these for use on a motorcycle. I have all the receipts. Air Temp and volt gauges have nice self-dimming blue display to match the rest of the nighttime illumination. White gauges on this bike only available on the 98, 99 models. Look sharp!  There is a 12volt aux plug in the left pocket along with a fuel pump kill switch. You can use this switch for security but what I like to use it for is to drain the carbs for the winter…How easy is that.

Upgrades just installed in May a 340amp no maintenance leak-proof battery. A new 90 amp alternator w new buffers plus full maintenance was done. Just a few things are: new tires (Have less than 3,000 miles on them now) High intensity head lights, Fork stabilizer brace, Plugs,  Front and rear brakes, (all 3 sets) All fluids and filters changed (including fork oil and cruse filter) Spend over $2500.00 just this past spring. No expense has ever been spared for my bike. My back just won’t let me ride any longer or at least for now. I’m hoping that will change in a year or two.

Beautiful condition.  It may have a scuff or scratch somewhere but you will not be disappointed. It only has 54,000 miles,  Starts and runs like the day it was new. Rides smooth and powerful. DOES NOT Smoke or Leak. Always stored indoors and I keep at least the sun cover on it when out and about. Included are 1 sun cover, 2 full covers and battery maintainer.

The only thing I can think of to place on the con side is that the ?Low Fuel Light” does not come on. Has nothing to do with the Fuel Gauge which works fine.

You will need to pay a 500.00 deposit within 48hrs if you win…And the balance within 7 days, The sooner the better so we can talk about getting it to you ASAP. Plenty of riding season left.

I am off of work next week so depending where you are I may take it to you or help get it to you by meeting you half way.  I’m not sure about this idea so don’t count on it. Ask me after you buy it.   Depends where you are and if I feel like making the trip. It would still cost you for shipping but if I take it to you it would be right away which is much faster than most transport companies…And no I not taking it to you C.O.D. The bike must be paid for first.   Friend of mine bought a bike on ebay, used allied, and it took 6 weeks to ship it from Arizona to Maryland for $1100.00. I thought that was a bit long.

Thanks for looking at my auction.   ****Happy bidding****          Reserve is very low!

KTM‘s Ken Roczen continues to impress, taking his second AMA Supercross win of his 450-class rookie season at the Georgia Dome in Atlanta. Roczen, who also won the season opening Anaheim 1 round, took advantage of a mistake by Kawasaki‘s Ryan Villopoto to take the win and move within nine points of the defending champion in the rider standings. The main event started with Smartop Motoconcepts Suzuki rider Mike Alessi taking the holeshot for his best start this season.
