2014 Pikes Peak International Hill Climb To Use Airfence, Thanks To Honda Sponsorship
Fri, 25 Apr 2014After a successful 2013 campaign in the 91st running of the Pikes Peak International Hill Climb, where Honda’s own Jeff Tigert won the Pikes Peak 450 class and set a new record, Honda is stepping up its involvement for 2014, as both a sponsor and race participant, with plans to field products in seven distinct race classes. In addition, Honda will be working with the AMA and the Pikes Peak sanctioning body on improvements which will provide new levels of safety to the Motorcycle / ATV / UTV / Sidecar competitors. Honda Predicts 5% Increase in North American Motorcycle Sales in 2011-2012 Forecast
Tue, 14 Jun 2011Honda Motor Co. announced its forecasts for the fiscal year ending March 31, 2012. Left out of Honda’s previous fiscal report because of the uncertainty created by the March 11 earthquake, the 2011-2012 forecast predicts a 63% decrease in net income compared to the 2010-2011 results.
Honda Opens Technical Center in India, Will Introduce New Models Every Quarter
Thu, 24 Jan 2013Honda‘s subsidiary in India is opening a new technical center to develop new models for that market. The new research and development center is the first for Honda to focus only two-wheeled vehicles, and the first in all of India to feature an advanced wind tunnel to test vehicle aerodynamics. The goal, for Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India (HMSI) is to eventually introduce a new model to India every quarter.
