"Dangerous" assistant

Honda has patented its development in the field of interactive technologies that prevent accidents, following BMW. The Japanese proposed a warning system about the danger that lies in wait for the driver in the blind zone. Honda engineers have proposed equipping the motorcycle with cameras and radars that will detect dangerous proximity to another vehicle or pedestrian and warn the driver through light indication or tactile feedback.

After launching their website last week, the California based Electric Moto Corporation has now announced the IPG Group as their agency of record to help increase brand awareness and bring in some investor interest.  According to their website, other then the EMAX 72 DS electric motorcycle, there is a scooter, ATV, bicycle and a personal watercraft on the drawing board. Honda pulled the covers off a new streetbike series aimed at younger, shorter riders. The Honda CTX700 represents the first in a new series from Honda combining the three tenets of Comfort, Technology and Experience. It’s a platform “specifically engineered to make motorcycling more approachable, affordable and fun than ever before.” Our own Troy Siahaan is at the CTX700 models’ launch in Chicago and will have a full first-hand report next week, but for now here’s a quick look at Honda’s new streetbikes.
