Joey Dunlop on a V4 Honda at the '83 TT

Fri, 28 Sep 2012 00:00:00 -0700

Onboard video footage doesn't get a lot better than this: Joey Dunlop during practice at the TT in 1983 onboard a factory Honda RS850R. San Carlo Gresini To Field CRT Entry with Honda CBR1000RR Engine

Tue, 15 Nov 2011 00:00:00 -0800

The San Carlo Gresini race team announced it will compete in the 2012 MotoGP World Championship as a Claiming Rules Team with a Honda CBR1000RR engine in an FTR prototype chassis. The late Marco Simoncelli was tabbed to ride the newest version of Honda’s MotoGP machine next season, but after his tragic death, Gresini had to find another option if it wanted to continue racing.

2014 AMA Supercross Indianapolis Results

Mon, 03 Mar 2014 00:00:00 -0800

Ryan Dungey captured his first win of the 2014 AMA Supercross season in a wild main event that saw two of the top title contenders crashing on the starting straight at Indianapolis‘ Lucas Oil Stadium. Smartop MotoConcepts Suzuki rider Mike Alessi took the holeshot for the second race in a row, but the big news was incoming points leader Ryan Villopoto and Ken Roczen going down before the first turn. Roczen trailed Villopoto by nine points going into the Indianapolis round, but the KTM rookie’s hopes of overtaking the reigning champion took a blow when he went down on the straight, knocking Villopoto off in the process.
