Honda Gold Wing description

Up for sale is my 2003 Honda Goldwing and Matching Trailer.  Wing has 33,822 miles and is a 9 on a scale to 10.  Almost has every chrome options, light options and passenger options made.  I purchase the wing 3 years ago, road a lot now we travel all the time and it's just to big to move in and out of our 5-wheeler.  This is a dream to ride!!!  The matching trailer is the BEST bike trailer made period.  Air ride (adjustable), watertight, cooler compartment, lined and lighted inside.  Storage on trailer is 76" long (plus arm 25") and 32" wide. The only blemished is on both side bags, slight rub marks from boxers that moved during transport, see pictures.  Other KEY options added are, extended windshield (I'm 6'2" and I can ware a hat and it will not blow off) SD card reader to store music, I have the original CD player too, Heal/toe shifter, cup holder, 2 full sets of helmet speakers for intercom/CB/Music and so much more.  Contact anytime.  I'm selling it because I know for the next few years I will not have the time to ride.  We are away all winter and do not want it to just sit.  This bike will be the envy of everyone you ride with.  Will not last long so email any questions..  Good Luck...

Honda Returning to AMA Pro Racing with Team Hammer and Dane Westby

Mon, 07 Jan 2013

Days after the release of the reigning AMA Daytona Sportbike champion from his contract, the Geico Motorcycle race team announced it will field Dane Westby with the backing of Team Hammer on a Honda CBR600RR season. Westby rode last season for Team Hammer on the M4 Suzuki GSX-R600 to finish second overall behind fellow Team Hammer rider Martin Cardenas who raced on a Geico-sponsored Suzuki GSX-R600. Last week, Team Hammer released Cardenas from his contract option for the 2013 season so he could pursue opportunities in the Superbike class.

Moto2 needs more radical bikes

Wed, 05 Sep 2012

Makers of fine exhausts, Taylormade Racing have built a Moto2 racer that harks back to the innovative machines like the Elf Honda 500 and Britten V1000. Since Moto2's inception in 2010 the class has featured bikes with conventional chassis but the Taylormade bike, designed by Paul Taylor and John Keogh, has a radical design featuring a carbon-fibre monocoque frame, carbon-fibre swingarm, wishbone monoshock front suspension and an under-seat radiator. However, with such radical engineering the inherent problem is that it is a risk for teams to invest in such a project.
