Honda Gold Wing description

1994 HONDA GOLDWING GL 1500 IN VERY WELL MAINTAINED CONDITION. bike has recent new front tire. v6 engine and transmission run perfect. I mean perfect. exhaust is quiet as a Goldwing should be, no leaks. has stereo, tape player, cb radio, intercom system, cruise control all which works perfect. the speakers were replaced about 2 years ago.reverse works perfect. bike rides smooth like a Goldwing should and has plenty of power. has extra front flood and back lights professionally added. also has a loud air horn installed when you hit the horn for those drivers that pull out in front of riders.seat has no tears, bike was never layed down. has forward additional foot rests added, a must for long trips. has leg and hand rain guards added. all gauges work without any issues. it has a 12 disk cd changer added installed in the trunk, but does not work anymore. the only thing mechanical that it could use in the future is a rear caliper. if it sits for a while it does not retract right. I have to crack the bleeder valve and then ride all day.a caliper is around $300 brand new.other than that ride anywhere in the usa. this bike will not let you down. also has an accessory outlet.

Wed, 17 Apr 2013

This weekend, the MotoGP circus makes its way to the United States for round two of the world championship, held at the stunning new Circuit of the Americas in Austin, Texas, the first time the track will host a world championship level motorcycle event. Expect to see the world’s fastest racebikes reach speeds over 200 mph on the 1 km (0.62-mile) back straight, and bring ear plugs — these bikes are loud! Fresh off a 1-2 finish in the season opener in Qatar, Jorge Lorenzo and Valentino Rossi are looking to carry the momentum to CotA.

2014 HRC Dakar Team Announced

Thu, 30 May 2013

Today at Mugello, ahead of this weekend’s MotoGP race at the famous Italian racetrack, Team HRC unveiled its 2014 Dakar team and motorcycle. Interestingly, one person many thought could be a Red Rider this year after leaving KTM, Cyril Despres, will not be riding a Honda next year, instead joining Yamaha’s Dakar effort.   However, HRC’s team still features five accomplished riders: Helder Rodrigues (Portugal), Sam Sunderland (UK), Javier Pizzolito (Argentina),  Joan Barreda (Spain) and Paulo Goncalves (Portugal), all of whom will be competing on the CRF450 Rally.

Day 11 Dakar 2014: Coma Wins, Extends Overall Lead

Thu, 16 Jan 2014

Day 11 marked the longest stage to date of the Dakar Rally, as the competitors tackled the 605km (376 miles) special stage, covering a variety of terrain, hard ground, mountains, plus 120km (75 miles) of sand and dunes in the Copiapo area. Despite this, and a fall at the beginning of the stage, Marc Coma again demonstrated his status as boss of the Dakar 2014, by picking up his third victory of the year, further reinforcing his position at the top of the general standings. Five-time Dakar winner Cyril Depres opened the piste for 400km before dropping slightly to finish just 02:31 behind Marc Coma in first.
