Honda Gold Wing description

1990 Goldwing just needs body work and some TLC to be back on the road!
This bike had 32,000 miles when it was purchased from a retired Air Force pilot, who had purchased it when brand-new. It had ALWAYS been garage kept. The Goldwing was layed down at 40 MPH after hitting a patch of loose asphalt. The bike WAS NOT STRUCK and DID NOT STRIKE anything; there was no collision, no impact. The frame is intact and undamaged. The engine, transmission and drivetrain are in working condition. Mechanically, the bike is in excellent shape and the total original mileage is  only 35,730 miles.
Buyer must remove the bike from the property. Shipping not available.

American John Hopkins announced he is taking a sabbatical from racing for 2013 to recover from a number of significant injuries. Hopkins’ once very promising racing career has been hampered by both a series of bad luck and injury. It seems so long ago that Hopkins finished fourth overall in the 2007 MotoGP Championship with Suzuki.

BMW Motorrad Goldbet racer Chaz Davies scored his first career World Superbike double victory, taking both races at Spain’s Aragon circuit. The wins were the second and third of Davies’ WSBK career (the first came last year at Nurburgring for the ParkinGo Aprilia team) and the second ever double in the series for BMW. The Welsh rider and former AMA Pro Racing competitor has had some success at Aragon, getting his first career WSBK podium at the Spanish track in 2012.

WSBK 2013: Monza Race Report

Mon, 13 May 2013

Eugene Laverty and Marco Melandri split a pair of victories at Monza but the most biggest news from the World Superbike weekend was a strange series of appeals after Race Two that saw Tom Sykes finish third, relegated to fourth and then reinstated on the final step of the podium. The unusual mix-up occurred after Sykes, sitting in third place, ran off track and into the run off area on Turn 5 on his final lap. The Kawasaki rider returned to the track again in third place where he finished ahead of Aprilia‘s Sylvain Guintoli.
