Honda Gold Wing description

This was the top-of-the-line Honda Gold Wing that year with digital dash, full fairing & luggage, AM/FM radio, adjustable suspension with on-board air compressor. Two-tone grey & dark blue.

Accessories include: custom king / queen seat, ride-off front stand, highway boards, running lights, Wind Wings, Tulsa windshield with Honda vent, foam grips, throttle lock, Progressive front fork springs, saddlebag top rails, luggage rack on trunk, and Star Steppers adjustable passenger footboards.

This is a very well maintained motorcycle. We have owned it since 1997. The head gaskets were replaced March 2015. It has iridium spark plugs. Tires are Dunlop Elite II with very even wear, well-balanced, and smooth riding; many miles left in them. Regular oil changes and all other maintenance up to date. Timing belts have been replaced. This bike starts with a bump of the starter and NO choke, runs great, has plenty of power. I would not be afraid to head off cross-country with this bike.

Reason for selling: We moved up to a 1500 Gold Wing.

There are some holes in the plastic body panels from accessories added & removed over the years. Some cracks as well, but nothing structurally compromised. NEVER BEEN WRECKED!

LOCAL PICKUP PREFERRED, but I do have a local shipper that can ship nationwide; CONTACT ME FOR PRICE BEFORE BIDDING!!!

The lack of a top-tier electronics package has been one of the biggest challenges faced by MotoGP’s claiming rule teams, and a spec ECU would narrow the gap between the CRT bikes and the factory prototypes. The manufacturers competing in the series, Honda, Ducati and Yamaha, understandably are resistant to the idea considering the effort they’ve put in to develop their electronics systems.
