Honda Gold Wing description

Very nice looking for it's age and runs good, but it is getting a little oil in the coolant. I suspect that it needs a headgasket or something.

Real dark maroon paint (in very good condition) has some scuffs and is not perfect, probably a 8-9 out of 10.

Lots of chrome that is in nice condition.

Lots of lights including ring of fire.

Virtually zero rust anywhere.

I rebuilt the rear air shocks 2 years ago.

Tires are 2 years old and in good condition with 50% or more tread.

There is no compressor or reverse.

Would make a nice older show bike.

 I am the third owner.

Bike has obviously been cared for.

Local pickup,  Located in southwest central Pa.

Revision to description. On the right side under the plate with the blue rocker switches, the plastic is cracked about 18 inches long. I missed noting this in the description. I do not know how it was cracked. You can see it in the pic already posted, but if you need another pic, let me know. Thanks.

Blind car drivers? It's your fault. Really, it is

Thu, 23 Sep 2010

Be seen, you Making car drivers see you is an art form that you learn from experience and narrow scrapes. It’s a fact of riding a bike that you’re harder to see than a double decker bus, it’s obvious isn’t it? You're small, fast and mostly, totally obscured by the average A-pillar.

AMA Pro Racing Announces Basic Twins Flat Track Class for 2014 Season

Fri, 12 Apr 2013

AMA Pro Racing announced a new class for Flat Track racing designed to provide a new stepping stone for up-and-coming Pro-licensed racers, replacing the Pro Singles class in 2014. The new class, to be called Basic Twins, is more or less a revival of the Basic Expert Twins division that ran during the 2007 and 2008 seasons, but dropped when the Pro Singles class was introduced for 2009. The new class will give young racers a chance to showcase their skills on Twins, easing their transition to eventually enter the Grand National Expert Twins class.

Rossi versus Gibernau at Brno in 2003. Most of the time Rossi and Gibernau came together, it was a classic in the making but while Rossi on the factory Honda hunting down Gibernau on the satellite Honda is well worth watching, the threat of a looming Bayliss on the Ducati makes this one even better. Gibernau, fresh from a win in Germany at the previous round - having beaten Rossi to the line by 0.060 seconds - was full of fight.
