1984 Honda Ct on 2040-motos
Honda CT tech info
Honda CT description
The motorcycle was bought new in 1984 by a 1/4 mile race track family in Alabama to travel around the race track mostly. He drove a shiny black race car so he repainted it to match his race car. I am the second person who has had it. The first person is a gentleman working for the race car driver who kept it in his garage for several years before he put it out in his garage sale where I found it there visiting family friends. It had 600 plus miles on it and now it has 884.6 miles on it. It is almost a brand new one!! Everything is original except I had to put in new spark plugs, new seat, rear view mirror, and new covering for the front springs. I have the original manual for it and a new manual showing how to use it and for repair. It is nice that is has two spark plugs so if one is not working it can be switched to the other one. It has a spare gas tank. the high and low range for the transmission which on low range and gear one it can go at full throttle it can get up to 1 mph. It can go anywhere with good traction. I have had a lot of fun on it when it was not raining.

Kenny Roberts Motorcycle Collection Up For Sale
Wed, 25 Apr 2012Motorcycling legend Kenny Roberts has commissioned RMD Motors to auction off some rare and exclusive motorcycles from his collection, presumably to make room for more. The Japan-based company is known the world over for its collection of rare and classic motorcycles for sale, many of which are retired grand prix machines fortunate enough to escape the fate of most decommissioned racebikes: the crusher. Headlining the Roberts collection is the 2004 Proton KRV5 originally ridden by Kurtis Roberts, King Kenny’s youngest son. The five-cylinder grand prix machine never achieved much success on the world stage, but will easily make you the center of attention at your local trackday.
2010-2011 Honda Shadow VT750 Recall
Mon, 13 Jun 2011Honda has initiated a recall campaign for certain 2010-2011 Shadow series cruisers due to a problem with their bank angle sensors. According to documents filed with the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, the bank angle sensors may incorrectly read that the motorcycle is leaning. The bank sensor uses a weighted pendulum that swings into a motorcycle’s lean.
