I had this mini bike built for my sons 14th b-day this past July. It has a rebuilt motor and a new wire harness and clutches installed. Runs and drives like a champ but he wants a 4 wheeler instead. The base for the ultimate project bike have appeared online, a Honda RC211V. The adverts consist of the supposedly the frame from Valentino Rossi's championship dominating machine from 2003 on eBay and a frame that comes complete with the sexy V5 engine. The eBay listing is currently at $510 and is literally an incomplete frame with the ad stating that it is the 'unfinished basis of replacement RC211V frame, all made in aluminium with CNC machined parts & high quality welding', the bidding is still under the reserve set by the user.

Not long after Honda launched its ultra low-cost Dream Yuga in India, Yamaha announced it is considering a new own model that will be nearly 40% cheaper. The 109cc Dream Yuga is Honda‘s latest weapon in the battle for India’s 13-million unit per year motorcycle market. Priced at 44,642 Indian rupees (US$806), the Dream Yuga is the most affordable Honda model available in India.

To be the man, you have to beat the man, and after the final day of MotoGP’s pre-season test in Malaysia, Repsol Honda‘s Casey Stoner continues to be the man. The reigning MotoGP World Champion didn’t let lingering soreness from the back problems that sidelined him for the first day of testing at Sepang slow him down. On just his second of 21 laps on the final day, Stoner set a blistering lap time of 1:59.607, besting second-fastest rider Jorge Lorenzo by 0.591 seconds.While there’s still some room for improvement to be found his Honda RC213V, Stoner will turn things over to the engineers and fly back home to Switzerland to his wife Adriana for the birth of their first child.
