1970 Honda Trail 70
 CT 70 Candy Gold
3600 miles
Runs and Rides

This is a no reserve auction for a rare and nice mostly original 1970 Trail 70. Runs and rides, have no title, I ride it around my neighborhood so miles may go up has around 3600 miles only right now.

Sold as is where is no warranties. Will give bill of sale if you want. It starts and runs and rides, front fender minor dents in front, nice seat, repainted rims oem silver, stock tires still new tubes. Motor has been tuned up and rebuilt in the last 1.5 years.

I just do not ride it and have baby on the way, must sell. NO RESERVE AUCTION.

Lights work on it when the battery is full charged. It is pretty nice for a 1970 and these things are hard to find in this shape.

It does have some nicks, scrapes, bumps and bruises so do not expect new, it has patina. See pics.

There is a key and no title for bike, i can give bill of sale if needed.

Back in the day, the All Japan 500cc Championship at Tsukuba

Fri, 24 Jun 2011

This ‘you tube’ gem sent to me recently brought back some funny memories from the scary but incredibly exciting days of 500cc two stroke racing. This particular race was the final round of the All Japan 500cc Championship at Tsukuba Circuit where I enjoyed a head to head battle with national hero Tadahiko Taira. Yamaha’s favourite son at the time, ‘tie wrap’ as we liked to call him, was taller and better looking than most Japanese riders (maybe a war baby?) and went on to win nearly everything in Japan during his career.

Old Spice ad gets, er, spiced up

Fri, 02 Jul 2010

WE CAN'T believe an aftershave worn by most of our grandfathers is still on sale, or that people actually buy it, but Old Spice has given a new twist to their popular TV ad by including a motorcycle in the promo. The commercial stars former American football player Isaiah Mustafa and ends with, what looks like, a 1970s Honda twin in a jacuzzi. It's all completely bizarre but clever.

2014 AMA Supercross – Indianapolis Results

Mon, 03 Mar 2014

Ryan Dungey captured his first win of the 2014 AMA Supercross season in a wild main event that saw two of the top title contenders crashing on the starting straight at Indianapolis‘ Lucas Oil Stadium. Smartop MotoConcepts Suzuki rider Mike Alessi took the holeshot for the second race in a row, but the big news was incoming points leader Ryan Villopoto and Ken Roczen going down before the first turn. Roczen trailed Villopoto by nine points going into the Indianapolis round, but the KTM rookie’s hopes of overtaking the reigning champion took a blow when he went down on the straight, knocking Villopoto off in the process.
